Thanks for the heads up!

You don't know how much I love the behind the scenes stuff.

Stewart, you are in a cool band with cool guys.

I really enjoy seeing them working on the great songs and getting along.

Keep the vids coming...where's part 2 ?
Cheers.

It's soooo tempting to buy the FC membership for these kinds of goodies.

Must . . . pay . . . credit card . . . bill . . .

Y'know what?

I was kinda pissed about the membership but I have realized how much I love it. Great video's!

I'm glad I did.

Cheers.

Very very mellow stuff... maybe too mellow? Discuss...

(sorry Martini)

S'ok, Hannaha. I live vicariously.

May I ask what mellow song is being featured?

As much as I want to join, I think it's more than my life's worth (from her indoors) to spend the $100, after getting the tickets, the reserved parking, the sc.net t-shirt and probably a t-shirt & program and other goodies at the gig :(

Little bit of MIAB, then some very chilled 'discussion' about stew's drumming and then a very gentle middle 8 from ELTSDIM

I sold my soul to the devil for tickets (I'm not proud), so I do have to count those pennies. When my best friend and I are at Giants Stadium, I'm going to allow myself to go blind to the numbers and just enjoy it -- there is a point where you've blown such a laughable amount of money that the dribs and drabs no longer matter. But I'm trying to limit the damage to however much cash I have on hand on that one day and to avoid all the other, super easy, credit-card-laden temptations that beckon on the net.

Thanks for the inside scoop, Hannaha!
But may I ask what you mean when you put discussion in quotes? (Fear.)

Oh well, Sting appears to want to change the way Stew is drumming - it sounds like Stew bows to his request but I'll have to have another listen when I get home as it was pretty quiet.

Well, there's always the pawn shop. ;)

Seriously, I about stroked out when I looked at my credit card this month...but I have several tickets on there I'm going to resell eventually. Most are going for face value, but I may put one of them on the open market, having paid through the nose for its brother on Ticketmaster Auctions.

My fave quote from that Sunday Times article a couple of weeks ago:

SC: “After our first week practising together I realised that I’m incapable of giving Sting exactly the drum pattern he has in his head. I will do my best. I am a third-rate session player but a first-rate tornado.”

Cut The Tornado some slack, Stingo!

Divemistress, the tickets on the Ticketmaster Auction are allowed to go higher than face value?

I think its actually really exciting...while Sting's way of rehearsal singing to save his voice (smart, that) modulates the energy, they are all collaborating and working though their material...that makes me very happy...hah Sting is disagreeing with Stewart's switch to the ride for a part of ELTSDIM, but Sting is actually saying that it's not intense enough, LOL...go figure /grin Stewart sounds bloody fantastic, so does Andy...this is going to rock, as that was weeks ago (still 'college band' status acc. to Stewart, chuckle)

Sockii will be happy to see the sparkly greens! :D

it feels so mellow...as someone on the FC boards put it sounds like a hotel lounge band. :( where's Stew's trademark drumming?
