Is there any way i can purchase tickets for birmingham nia without paying £100 membership on the police site or going through best buy. I've searched on the internet and the only tickets i can see are ones being sold for 250 quid or on ebay where they are charging 125 pounds a ticket. Please help. Is there a phone number i can ring to order tickets at a more reasonable price.

Might not be a bad idea to go ahead and spring for the fan club fee, only if for access to the "buy/swap" area in the forums. Folks are only allowed to list tickets in there for face value, so you won't get skint.
Lemme run do a quick looksee if there's anything for Birmingham in there.

Hm. I didn't see anything - looked at the first four pages of listings - but there are A LOT more tix available in there now, than there were just a few days ago. More people must be receiving them in the mail.
I'll try to check back in there for you.

i phoned up earlier and they said it sold out this morning within minutes. Perhaps i could get two tickets through ebay later on before september. Do you reckon the police will be playing extra dates in the uk because of the sell outs.
I'm pleased the concerts are selling out in that it shows just how big a band the police are. Sting has got to realise that he has to put the band back together for a studio album because they are the best out there. They're special and we need a new album. We're talking as big as nirvana and any other supergroup. They're huge.
Sounds a good idea about joining the fan club for 50 quid and then using swap /sell section. Thanks for the help. I'll get in because i am determined enough.

I'm sure they will announce further UK dates - only 4 dates for a country of 60 million people (their home country too) just seems insane. But like you say, if you're determined you'll find a way in there. We can all keep an eye for you in the meantime though

I'd say your chances are pretty good - the Fan Club is *really* cracking down on scalping. If anyone is caught selling FC tickets on Ebay for more than face value, the tickets get cancelled.
We have a reseller here in the states called StubHub, that offers money back if your tickets turn out not be genuine. I have no idea if such a thing exists in the UK, but it might be worth a look. Otherwise, you know the drill on Ebay, right? Only buy from someone with a 98+ positive rating, wait till after the show to give feedback, pay with a credit card, etc.
