OK, like everyone else this morning -- I kept trying to get in at 10am (CST) this morning, and I finally DID get in an hour later a minute or two after 11am (after I noticed the fan club site got WAY faster around 10:50am) -- all times are CST.

Anyway, I got tickets -- 4 rather good $90 ones, actually, that I'm quite happy with. (Yeah!!) I could have gotten $200 tickets, but threw them back because I really needed four tickets, and didn't want to spend almost $850.

Now, is there any chance that I won't get my tickets because the sale got shut down for an hour or two, and rescheduled for 1pm (EST, or Noon CST)?? I got my tickets in the middle of the time when the sale was going on, and then got halted.

I mean, I really DID get in, and got my ticket transaction completed (and printed my receipt), and everything's hunky-dory, as best I can tell.

But there isn't any chance that they could cancel my transaction, thinking that it was part of the automated ticket grab, could they?? (My wife would kill me.)

I opted for getting hard tickets delivered to me -- because two of the tickets are for a dear friend of mine who had a rather serious health crisis about two months ago, and there's a small chance that he won't be able to go (it was a fairly bad stroke, and he's only in his mid 30's -- yikes!!), so there was a small chance of me having to sell his tickets (at face-value) to some other friends of mine. (Don't ask, either way, the tickets are spoken for.)

And I only mention the hard ticket issue because it would be obvious that I had gotten real, valid tickets if I had opted for electronic "instant" tickets (or so I would assume).

Am I just worrying for nothing??? Thanks for any advice anyone has. I'm not too worried about it, but reading about how the sale got rescheduled has got me a tiny bit spooked now.

I'd say you're probably in the clear. You can check on the status of your tickets any time by logging into www.ticketmaster.com and hitting "my ticketmaster".

It also couldn't hurt to call them to confirm everything went through okay.

I once got tickets for a show that accidentally went on sale early. Tickets were fine (and front row!). Sometimes it pays to play with the system. I think you're fine, especially if you're still getting your confirmation through Ticketmaster.
