!! I don't remember seeing anything about this before...Looks fantastic! Is there any more information about it?

Is it a documentary actually featuring Stewart? Anyone know?

When i first saw the thread title, i was sure it would be centered around those Vancouver rehearsals. But the description on the page doesn't suggest that at all, and in fact doesn't seem to address the reunion at all, which makes the whole project seem pretty dated.

Ironically, the title seems to play off a Sting solo tune. :?

The only other reference on a quick search I could find besides the website above was a short blurb on LiSting:

"The french writer, Gert Brush is preparing a documentary about the Police. You might know his famous book about Sting (released in France in 1996). Now, he's investigating the Police band from inside. He has interviewed Sting, Andy, Stewart, former Police guitarist Henry Padovani, et lots of fans from France to Los Angeles (see the forum about that).
The film is to be released this summer !"

So kinda like a Filth and the Fury...but the band is still touring!

I edited the title of the thread.

Apparently the documentary will feature 'pre-reunion' (i.e. dated) interviews with the band members. But it looks promising!

Even if its explanation of the dissolution etc. doesn't take into account the current reunion...bring it on...it was so long without anything new...thanks for the info & the heads-up!

I'll be interested to know the answer to this question (as advertised)
'why have the Police never reunited since their glory days?'

Hope he gets to the bottom of it...

Although there have been some quite strong rumours on this site that the Police will infact get back together...

I dont know who to believe anymore.

hmmm

There's going to be so many new exciting goodies for us all this year, we are going to be properly skint by the time 2008 rolls around!

Home-made xmas pressies all round for my family this year I think. It's, er, so much more personal... ;)

Hi everybody,

thanks for your interest and be sure that 'The Police: Set Them 3', as well as getting back to the old glory times, will figure a great bunch of information related to the 2007 reunion.

And good news for you all in stewartcopeland.net : Stewart is the main guide of the movie (well don't worry, you'll see Sting and Andy also, among many others...).

See you soon.

Gert
