The set list they are practicing is up there... oh yes... Invisible Sun!
This kid (wearing his Synchronicity shirt still from Friday that he bought at Hot Topic and also wore to see the Zodiac) is enjoying this news immensely!!
I see a couple of impressive rarities on there too!

it's hard to believe that they will sing all those songs in one show. I would suspect about 18-20 songs per night with some being interchanged once in a while. I'd like to hear a few B sides.

"Murder By Numbers" is on there... that's a positive sign for me...

Is it possible that the songs for the rehearsal were to get back into the groove and not the set list for the upcoming tour...or is that silly to even think...I know they have a longer list of songs for a tour in advance and they don't play them all in one night but vary it from there...but an official TPT post of the set list...I'm not sure...its not like you could go wrong, no matter what they play...even with an all b-side and unplayed song list (like the hysterical one from the mailing list)...if it is, I couldn't be happier to see Bring on the Night...

Sorry for the double post--I forgot to provide any reasoning behind my question...now I understand that their catalog hasn't changed since Synchronicity tour and that tour was most inclusive of their catalog...but this list looks almost exactly like the one for that tour...with a few minor differences...I guess a 'greatest hits' logic would produce the same list...but for some reason the fact that it looks almost the same (as far as I can remember, will check to verify my feeling) makes mewonder if that was for rehearsal purposes at that point (the Vancouver boot-camp, where Stewart assures us that Sting emerged no namby-pamby /grin)...and not necessarily the set list...but they do actually start playing in a matter of weeks (DID I JUST HEAR MYSELF CORRECTLY, excuse the use of all caps, please!) so there's not much time...

Driven to Tears, Bed's Too Big, One World, Deathwish, Murder by Numbers...those make me very, very happy.
I'm kind of "meh" on the number of Synchronicity selections which I would rather see replaced with some more obscure tracks, but whatever! Who knows yet what we may end up hearing this summer.
I'll hope for a few more suprises tossed in the mix...

2 tickets to Bonnaroo, $1200
2 tickets to Tampa, $500
Fan Club Membership $100
Seeing the Police Again, Priceless!!!
For all the things money can buy, thank goodness for Mastercard and the elimination of the concept of debtor's prison /wink
I'll be happy with whatever, although I will be really surprised if Does Everyone Stare isn't there, too
Does anyone know how many of these fall into the "haven't played" category, since I've been thinking about Sting's comment from the rehearsals...I don't know a whole lot about set-lists and so forth (beyond videos) from pre-Synchronicity...so am curious (see suspicion above) about this list re: Sting's comment....

If you look closely on the picture HOLE IN MY LIFE is at the bottom as well and there is the word START next to MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE which would indicate that they maybe starting the set with MESSAGE.
Will probably change alot over the next 2 months.

yeah, this isn't really a "setlist" for the tour as much as it is a "Master List" of songs to start working on for the tour, at least that's what I gather. Among all the obligatory hits there are a number of nice "gems" if you will... here's to them adding more unexpected numbers... again, having never seen the Police before myself, I'm quite excited about the tour nonetheless...
