On the Radio/ japan

"The Police live at Whisky a Go Go" was on the radio this morning in Japan.
It started with the warm, frank, natural conversations on the stage and that made me smile. And also I felt the mood of the place, filled with joy.
2 songs from the live was on the air; Message in a Bottle & Roxanne. And along with the brief history of the band, two or three numbers are introduced from each album.
The most requested song was " Every Breath You Take".
For me, I was pleased to hear again (after 20+ years?) the Japanese version of "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da"...funny.

Now some Japanese magazines are showing Stewart's interview, much more to come I think until the tour in Japan (probably in 2008).
Yes we are waiting.

I am seriously considering a thepolicetour.com travel package for Tokyo if they offer one down the road... I can only imagine how amazing it would be to see The Police live on this tour in Tokyo, Japan...

I would love any scans of any Japanese magazine features on Stewart and/or the Police that folks could shoot my way...I'd of course include them in the archive on my website... (I just put up a few things that were in Billboard and the Rolling Stone piece this week.)

Well, Laz, in Tokyo.....that would be nice, with the image of those three men getting on & off the train at the subway stations (Tokyo-Metro), like they did in "So Lonely" video. Would it be possible again......?
And in "De Do Do Do De Da Da Da", Sting pronounces perfect japanese, so strictly perfect and that makes him look(sound) like an honor student at the hall. Charming, I love it.

What an archive sockii ! Okey I'll try.... :D

Wow!! I'd love to hear the Japanese "De Do Do Do" sometime!! I've heard that the subways in Tokyo (as well as the entire city) are VERY crowded. Dying to go there anyways...
