Outstanding. I think you win the 'most enthusiastic fan' award here lately, jackie. ;)

I had a sort of beige Police shirt during the Synchronicity era. Over on TPT, someone mentioned a Police shirt with a pic of the Statue of Liberty wearing sunglasses on it...I'm looking all over for a reissue of that one.

These days I have a Gizmo shirt, a SC.net one, a GitM black tour shirt reissue, and a white Zenyatta reissue. Got a little happy at the record store the day the reunion was announced and bought both those last two, since I couldn't decide between them...

I mentioned in another thread I borrowed the three blond heads t-shirt for a while from a friend (was kinda like Rorschach if you don't know what it is at first) and have no idea where it went!

I am currently looking at some new ones (and can't wait to see if they reissue old shirt designs in addition to new ones!)

I have a Synchronicity tour t-shirt I bought off IRS merchandising back in like...85 or 86? It's a bit worn but by some miracle (or, more truthfully, Weight Watchers) I still can fit into it today :D I'll have to drag it out for this tour because it's amazing the comments & complements I get when I wear it.

I also have Zenyatta and Reggatta de Blanc t-shirts I bought on-line some time ago, and an IRS and Synchronicity t-shirt I bought off Miles' ill-fated "official" Police site last year...and a Ghost in the Machine sweater-tee from The Gap which is seriously cool, and *almost* worth the $60 I paid for it...note I say almost...

A friend of mine that has a T-shirt store, made me one with the Regatta D'Blanc cover.

He really suprises me with his gift to me...

I am fortunate to be a pack rat and have a pack rat sister. I have four tees. The first two are from Ghost in the Machine 1982. Purchase on March 13, my 13th birthday on Friday the 13th in Jacksonville,Fla. My sister and I went to the concert and she got the baseball style shirt with the faces and I got the black tee (as a youngster I cut off the arms) with the front picture of the guys playing. My other two are from the Sych tour from the Orlando show. the first one is a white muscle type shirt and the other is yellow. My sister and I drove from St. Augustine with two of her friends to see the show in the Orange Bowl. These are my prize posessions. My boyfriend says "Oh, brother (with the hand on his head)" when ever I wear them. Yesterday, I proudly wore the Ghost baseball style jersey.

I've got a few really cool original ones off of ebay - I love that skinny early 80's fit! The supercool GITM baseball style one is my favourite. I've also got an original Gateshead one with the dancing silhouettes that I got via the old Outlandos fan club in the 90's. Sadly I was a little too young to have bought these in person at any of the shows where they were originally sold... *sighs* (and then smiles broadly as she remembers she WILL get to see the Police live this year... EEK!)

P.S. I'd love to have an original one with the 3 blonde heads from the back of Regatta - it's such an iconic image.

T shirt

Postby irishrose1969 on 05 Mar 2007 07:24

I had the Ghost t shirt and The Zenyatta Jersey Black sleeves and white with the Zenyatta cover on it. I also had my Stewart Copeland t shirt that a family member took one of my magazine pics and had it put on a t shirt for a birthday/chirstmas present. That was cool. I would love to get new ones again. Cant wait for Vegas show.

I used to have a Gateshead T-shirt bought at the event... 8)
It was not of very good quality though and since I used to sleep in it it was sort of destroyed over time. What a shame!

I have a worn baseball tee with the badge on the left breast, 1980 tour I believe, a Ghost tour 82 shirt, a cheap Synchronicity shirt bought at a mall somewhere in the 80's, a Synchronicity MTV shirt I sent away for, a black tee with The Police on the left breast I bought from Miles' Ark 21 site, several Sting shirts, and a couple Animal Logic shirts.

I have two that I bought at Outlando's F.C. of London... the first one is an old cotton spandex of "Zenyatta Mondatta" album cover design and the other is a long sleeve shirt with album design of "Greatest Hits-The Police".

Uhmmm some years ago I designed and produced my own POLICE T-Shirts with nice peruvian cotton, black and blue t-shirts and long sleeve shirts with designs of: "Outlando's D'amour", "Regatta de Blanc", "Spirits in the material world - single cover sleeve", "Synchronicity II - single cover sleeve" and "Every Breath You Take - The singles Album Sleeve"

I SOLD OUT all of it in ONE DAY!!! Was really a success!!! I sold it at a christmas fair of Lima.

Am I thinking to made more?? Perhaps... all is possible, by the way the peruvian cotton is Pima the best cotton around the world!!!
