I don't know about you guys... but I sure would like for them to release a Live CD of one of their shows.

Perhaps they can record several different shows and pick the best one.

I also hope they produce a DVD of one of the reunion shows with a bunch of behind the scenes stuff and maybe even a documentary of the entire tour.

I know I would buy it and I am sure there would be a HUGE demand for such products!

What do you guys think?????

dvd + cd

I'm sure the record company will probably release great stuff by the end of the year; as I'm a label manager myself, I would work on the following:

- double live cd

- double live cd + dvd

- dvd (plus bonus disc dvd with extras such as documentary, Vancouver rehearsals, La public rehearsal and announcement as we saw on TPT.com)

- box set double live cd + live dvd + photo book and memorabilia

Four different format releases then, and I guess that with such a massive response, they do deserve it!

DVD documentary is already in the works.

I don't doubt that they'll have a live album to sell (double CD or otherwise) but wouldn't you prefer they just put all the shows up for sale and let you buy the one(s) of your choice at the official website?

Seems like a lot more fun than just a CD.

And they'd make more money off it, too. However, there probably is some Luddite segment of the public that would rather have a CD you can simply go in a store and buy...so probably they'll do both downloads and actual CDs.

I'd buy all of it, too.

I wish they would do what The Who did a few years ago -- release EVERY show via the internet with the profits going toward charity (Teenage Cancer Trust). They were packaged similarly to their own "Live at Leeds" cover and Pearl Jam's live cd releases. They would raise a lot of money. For WaterAid perhaps?

Of course if this album become a reality, it will be a very good memory an evidence of this historical reunion.

The Police is back.

Yes, yes, yes
