I want them to AT LEAST play On Any Other Day, and Mother. Think Stewart and Andy would sing them? It wouldn't be the same if Sting did....

On Any Other Day- *maybe* as it can be played live and not lose much, but Mother- I don't see that as a live song any way you slice it.
Both songs however are severely overshadowed by the rest of their catalog. I think we may see a few gems that haven't been played live in a looooong time (pre Ghost), but I bet they will still be more of their hit songs than anything else.

I've started to wonder whether Sting's comment at the rehearsal may possibly refer to old songs that never saw the light of day, old songs that were hardly played live, or new ones...would be great to see all three types...hope they dug up all the buried tapes...or at least left a treasure map

"Miss Gradenko" would showcase Andy's nimble fingers.
If they do perform something like "On Any Other Day," I pray that Sting doesn't change the key like he did with "Fall Out." That song lost all appeal for me when he did that.

You know, something's just occurred to me...
A Stewart-only version of 'Everyone Stares' - LIVE!!!
Oh my, I think I'm feeling faint...
I'll just die if it happens at some concert I don't attend, since I'm looking at three of them at the moment.
Now, if we can just get Stewart past this idea that he can't sing. I realize everyone makes a fuss over Sting and his vocal range, but Stewart is about a whole different thing - don't get me wrong, I like Sting too, but Stewart's just more...what's the word? Charming.
OK, he's about a million times more charming. I can't be the only one who feels this way, right?

I would enjoy hearing Omegaman, or maybe a 2007 hard-hitting Truth Hits Everybody.
Also:
Murder By Numbers
Visions Of The Night
Secret Journey
Deathwish
I Burn For You
Some great songs they could do here and really stretch out the jams. That would be awesome. I really liked the funkified section of Voices Inside My Head they did at the Whiskey. Very nice.

Yes he is very charming. That smile, the way he speaks, his jokes.... *blush*
Sting comes off more like, "I'm better then all of you."
Ahh come on, they have to do Mother, I've been looking forward to it!
>Now, if we can just get Stewart past this idea that he can't sing.
He won't believe us, we're abit biased.
I never found Sting's voice to be anything fantastic, it's not bad though...

blueseattle,
If you have the Synchronicity live DVD, there is a multi angle view of Invisible Sun you can actually see Stewart's stick go airborne, never misses a beat.

I hope they play many unknown songs.
Bombs Away, The other way of Stopping, Behind my camel, Friends.
Anyway, any song The Police will play is all right for me...

Dead End Job's bassline is *wicked* but I don't think Sting can sing "I don't want to be no millionaire!" unless for giggles, and insincere ones at that
A Sermon would actually be really funny now, probably better now...Nothing Achieving would beg for Henri to jump on stage (and = cheers to Ian)...

Dream song list: A Sermon, Nothing Achieving, Someone To Talk To, Bombs Away, Omegaman, Darkness, Once Upon A Daydream, Low Life, So Lonely, No Time This Time, Synch II, It's All Right For You, Invisible Sun...Hmmmm, I guess you could say I'd like them to throw in some rareties amongst the hits.
