Hello webmaster Giovanni and everyone on this board.
I am a female Police fan in Japan.
Music had been always on my side since my childhood
through the radio and, when I was in elementary school on 1978, 'Roxanne' got me so moved .
The Police came to Japan 1980 and 81, but I could not afford their tickets.
After their stopping activities, there was no band that should impress me like them.
Afterwards, around early 1990's, I was disappointed
at the rock music scene and quitted listening to.

In recent years, I got to know the world-famous 'You Tube' and began collecting classic videos of this band that leaded me to search many articles about The Police on the internet.
(The video 'Stewart jamming with STUNG' is such a great thing!)

I got to this website last December. I like the part 'The
COPELANDS ' which tells me how much this family dedicated
themselves to this superb band. Moreover, the forum is
full of love for Stewart and the Police so I would like to join.

I was lucky to watch The Grammy performance through
satellite broadcasting. When the sound of Stewarts' drum
started, I cried, 'Yes! This IS THE POLICE MUSIC!'.
Their world tour news sounds like dream :D

Welcome Midori!

I really started getting into the Police when I started drumming in the late 80's. By then, the Police were no more so this is definitely a dream come true to *finally* be able to see my drum hero live!

Welcome Midori!

I remember a Japanese fan called Tomoko Arikawa ( who sent me the Budokan Hall concert in Japan thats really cool)

I know THE POLICE love Japan, thats what they included at the tour list... I remeber that amazing shots of THE POLICE in Japan...that "Sumo" wrestling between that big japanese versus little thin Andy...By the way, I think Andy love japanese music and girls

Sayonara!

Regards from Peru,

JOSE

Hi folks, I'm very glad to have a lot your warm welcome。

Bonjour, olivier!
>hope you will be able to see them !
Thanks. Judging the tour dates, they will come to Japan this winter-I can't wait for it!

Hi, Three over Four!
>be able to see my drum hero live!
He is the best drummer I ever listened. ' Synchronicity I ' on 'synchronicity concert (at Atlanta 1983)' dvd is so cool for Stewarts' rhythm!

HAJIMEMASHITE, Laz!

So you live in LA , the town of Stewart&Andy.
I visit there long time ago. Sunshine and blue sky are my unforgettable memory.

Hola, Jose!

>"Sumo" wrestling between that big japanese versus little thin Andy
I want to see this by all means! Is it found out on internet?

I hope to The Police will vist Peru!

Hi, sockii !

I enjoyed your great report from Whiskey a go go , that brought me in front of them!

Hi, georgygirl!

Japanese Police's fan, like people on this board, are buzzing with their historical reunion.
So many people wish to get tour tickets-so many rivals around me.

Hi, jedsoon!

One world is enough for all of us' - it's great to see the Police fans all over the world on this board. Viva internet!

Buongiorno, giovanni !
Thank you for your response in spite of tons of e-mails rushing at you.
>to see Stewart in Japan
I have been thinking about this EVERY SINGLE DAY! :D

And gio, if you have a chance to see Stewart, Andy , and Sting (jumping on the stage!), please send a message like this- 'Lots of Japanese fans still love you all!!'

Buongiorno, Paolo!

Stewart said 'Italy rules! ' on the press conference at Whiskey.
Your country seems to his favorite place, doesn't it?

Hello Stewart, Giovanni and everyone here, this is from Tokyo ,too.
And I'd like to thank you Midori-san, for posting the message here, it helped me putting My message (needed some courage......).

I was lucky to see the preview of "EVERYONE STARES" last December. it was so exciting, vivid and.... I just couldn't stop writing a message to Giovanni, then I joined this forum.
Actually, the film will be released in the theaters in Japan at the end of the March, and they say Stewart is coming! What a great news for us in "the far east"!
The japanese official site for the movie doesn't put any additional information and I've been wondering;
Is he really coming? How long will he stay? Where can we meet (or just see) him?
(Where can I find the link to the topic?sorry Giovanni I can't find it)
Please tell us (japanese fans) here, whisper us a little bit of his plan in Tokyo...

This forum makes me feel very near to Stewart, and the fans all over the world, I'm very happy to be here, thank you Giovanni thank you all.

Grazie a tutti,
Ciao ciao!
