gahhhhhhhhh i was on ticketmaster at 10am on the dot and what happens when i went to click next for my credit card and that...my tix got released !!!! and now its sold out..i REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY HOPE they have a 2nd show in vancouver..they have a huge gap between van and toron!

The same thing happened to me. Believe it or not I had 10th row tickets in Section 3 at the Madison Square Garden and when I went to click on the credit card purchase it timed me out! I let out a high pitched scream that Sting would envy. I really hate Ticketmaster.

edgyspice, I designed a "fake" poster when I first heard about the reunion. I found some images from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame performance and slapped it all together in Photoshop. I guess I got a bit excited.

yeah. im actually really disappointed. i never go to concerts cuz i cant really afford it, but this was one i was willing to fork out for. i seriously think they were the last good band left (well U2 is still around...but they're really commercialized now). i wanted to see stewie and andy really bad...does anyone know if there will be a 2nd show in vancouver? can we get someone to let them know WE WANT A SECOND SHOW IN VANCOUVER! this sucks BIG TIME. ahhhhh back to studying for midterms

My sympathies. After I was unable to get Toronto tickets for July 22, they added a July 23 date, with *no* presales. Unfortunately, at the time they were adding it I was crying in my coffee and posting to this group about it. Keep checking policetour.com for updates. Like my husband said, it's a game.

fahidguitar, don't give up hope! I'd just watch the boards (here, tpt.com, and elsewhere) for folks who might have tickets to sell off soon, or right before the show, at face value.

I've gotten to more than a few shows I was desperate not to miss that way...if you stick with other fans, there's usually someone who can help you out.

I can only agree with everyone and say that Ticketbastard totally blows chunks. I was online trying to get through and I had two phone lines trying at the same time also. This was for the first show in Vancouver and when I did get through (by phone) after waiting about 40 minutes I was told it was sold out. I just about cried I was so disappointed. Forntunately there was a second show added and I will be there with bells on. Note to self: Ticketbastard is a money grubbing corporate piece of shit that only cares about money, followed by more money, followed by world domination. May they rot in hell.
