Has anyone else checked out the Discography section over at http://www.thepolicetour.com/ ?? They included all kinds of great album reviews in there that were obviously written the same time these were released. What great fun I've been having reading through them!! Some of the comparisons to other artists are HILARIOUS to say the least....

Ummm... hard rock? Nah.
Is "bop" the same as pop?
"Image (age and attitude etc) ultimately detracts from The Police's commercial potential."
They make it sound like they were ancient.
These are weird reviews, it's odd to see what people thought of them early on. All the reviews I've ever read seem to start out with a quick summary of how the band ended... then lists hits.
