I sure didn't, just wondering if they were even available or if I need to start looking at auctions.

I sure didn't.

I would hate to see what is in store for non-membership paying fans who expect a seat.

is the wind out of your sails? I feel like I got screwed.

Cheers.

From the 10 different offers that ticketmaster gave me they were all 300 level NOSEBLEEDS at MSG! I am very dissappointed.

Bongo boy you got royally screwed. They shouldn't even be offering those kinds of seats to paying members. I really found the whole pre sale completly retarded. I payed for the big buck seats along with the membership fee but the whole thing is definitly a money grab.
Like i mentioned to you on the police message board, try and get yourself some tickets on Saturday and sell the ones you got today.

I can confirm that my seats are also no good. I think I lost some precious time there while ticketmaster was rejecting my passcode. I cut and paste it so I figured I couldn't go wrong, but actually I had to type it by hand one character at a time.
I'm happy to have tickets, but sad that they aren't better tickets.
:) :(

Bongo - let's compare notes.

I just posted this over at TPT.com:
I haven't bought tickets to any concert in so long I have no idea if I got good seats (I'm still in panic mode!).

I got my presale code and got really bad seats right away. I kept giving them up and searching for more for a full half hour. I finally decided to go with section 119 row 20 for $225, as I had passed on it once, and everything else that came up was pretty bad.

Seeing as I only bought 2 tickets, I decided to try again just to see what was still available, and 2 floor seats in row 30 came up so I grabbed them without thinking how far from the stage they might be.

What would be the better seats to keep? I have friends who will probably buy the extra 2 off me, so I just want to know from experienced concert goers, which to keep.

Thanks for any advice!
Any Vancouverites here that can comment on which pair of seats at GM place are the best? I'm going to have to unload 2 of them.

I think I need a vacation after all this stress...

I am such a plebeian that it never even occurred to me to pass on the first selection it gave me. D'oh!

i did consider trying that but i was fearfull i would end up with crappy seats. RFLR 33 should be fine. It's not front row centre but i am really just happy the guys got back together and i'm going to be there :D

Yesterday, I got "A" section seats on Andy's side for the Fenway Park (Boston) concert. Thank you BEST BUY!!! I just happened to sign up for the Rewards Zone last year which is something I rarely ever do so it was fate.

I must say that these are the most expensive tickets I have ever purchased and I have been to a lot of concerts. They were almost $500 for the pair after all the fees.

However, The Police are my favorite band of all time and I only got to see them once on the Synchronicity tour on August 10, 1983. This is a date that I will never forget. It was my first music concert and the most memorable one. Opening for The Police were A Flock of Seagulls and The Fixx. I believe the venue was called Foxboro Stadium at the time. It has changed names twice since. I have been a hardcore Police fan ever since. I bought every LP, tape, CD, DVD, VHS, LaserDisc, special discs like the star shaped Reggata de Blanc single, etc... I vividly remember when the UPS truck driver delivered "Police Around The World" and I ran to the door, ripped open the package and headed straight for the VCR. I watched it over and over and over again. Can't wait for the DVD release!!!

I did go to a couple of Sting concerts but it's just not the same. When The Police broke up, it was one of the saddest days in my life. It was like losing a good friend. I never got to see them again but I will this summer. It's a strange feeling though. I'm excited but at the same time, I'm a bit sad. I can't explain it. One day, I hope I can meet Stewart and Andy. I'm sure all of you can sympathize with how their music has impacted your life. I just want to say thanks for three decades of music and I'm so happy you are back!!!!

Blueboy, Sec 119 are good seats but Row 30 on the floor are'nt too far away and everyone pushes up a bit anyways you gotta use those ones for yourself plus being directly in front of the band the sound has to be better. I was able to get lower rows Sec 118 and 119

You beat me to it-- I was just about to post and ask if anyone got good seats using the Best Buy code.
