So I read everything about noon today pre-sale for premium members which I am.

do they automatically send you a code at 12pm?

do you have to try and log on to the obviously high traffic web page?

I don't get it.

why don't they just e-mail a code to a member at noon?

I can see it now, no tickets.

from Great time to crap times.

...heh, heh it gets better.

now they say that AFTER you have got on the site (good luck!) and requested tickets, you shouldn't wait for the code to be send to you?. You should go directly to ticketmaster?.

without a code?

I regret paying $100 for this joke.

I have just gone through this with Dylan and Van Morrison FOR FREE!!!

they just e-mailed you a code and you used it at ticketmaster.

IT SHOULDN'T MATTER WHAT SHOW!!! just send a code like all the artists do!

complicated for no reason at all.

Thanks Policetour for ruining this whole experience, I really appreciate it. Go to the pub on my $100.

I'm done, I know I won't be going.

How To Use The ThePoliceTour.com Ticket Pre-Sale System?:

To take advantage of the current ThePoliceTour.com Ticket Pre-sale, please follow these quick steps:

(1) Visit the following link: http://www.ThePoliceTour.com/tickets

(2) Find the show you want to go to and look under the column called 'FanClub Tickets'.

(3) If you see 'GET TICKETS' then there are still pre-sale tickets/passcodes for that event. Otherwise, it will state "ALLOTMENT GONE" which means there are no more presale tickets available.

(4) After you click 'GET TICKETS', you will be shown a page confirming the show you chose and you must read and agree to the terms of the Pre-Sale System on ThePoliceTour.com.

(5) After you click the checkbox to agree to these terms, you can continue to next step.

(6) If you are already logged in to ThePoliceTour.com, just click continue. Otherwise, you will see a login form so enter your username and password here, then click continue.

(7) The next page again confirms your selection. If it is correct and you want to obtain the ThePoliceTour.com passcode for this event, click continue.

(8) The next page provides you with the passcode and a link to a ticketing agent (ticketmaster or etix.com) where you will go to actually order the tickets using the Pre-Sale passcode.

This page also provides many details about the pre-sale so review it carefully.

You will also receive a confirmation email with details and your passcode.

(9) The ticket agent (ticketmaster or etix.com) will send you an order confirmation email after you successfully order your tickets.

IMORTANT NOTE:
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

As a PREMIUM member of ThePoliceTour.com you can purchase tickets for one show on the tour with a limit of up to 4 tickets.

If you buy less than the maximum limit of tickets, the remainder does not carry over to additional shows or transactions. Ticket quantities may vary based on availability. The reason for this ticket limit is so we can ensure more fans have access to presale tickets.

Also, many of thr ThePoliceTour.com member presales are facilitated by Ticketmaster. We highly recommend you create your Ticketmaster account, and sign in to it, before the tickets go on sale. This is to ensure that you will not find out at the last minute that you've forgotten your Ticketmaster password or need to set up a new account while you are trying to check out your order.

Please note: this Ticketmaster account is separate from your ThePoliceTour.com account and there is no charge to register.

If you don't already have an account with Ticketmaster or if you have forgotten your password, please visit the following link: https://www.ticketmaster.com/member

Read the directions more carefully. You sign get on the site, and they will give you a code for TM. They will also email it to you, but it's the same code so you don't have to wait for it.

Everyone who is able to participate in the presale today is going through the same steps, so you have just as good a chance as anyone else. (Well, unless you have dialup, but I think anyone trying to do presales of any kind with dialup is pretty much screwed no matter who the band is.)

it will be difficult to do when the website is down like it has been this week.

anyway, thanks man.

I'll try once but some of us have to work so it's not like I can struggle with a webpage all day long.

anyway, I have already excepted my fate.

"too good to be true? that's because it is"

maybe Van Halen will just e-mail a code like Dylan and Van the man.

I'll get to see something someday.
