Miles is no longer Stings manager we know that. Why?...none of our business, BUT as far as The Police go he was the captain of the ship on the business side of things, so is he involved at all?
Wonder how he feels about this?
Stewart can you inform us nosey bastards?

Cheers,

Dave

I was also wondering, if Miles isn't in charge, then who is? Do you know Gio?

I don't know why he and Sting split. I don't know if they still don't want to work together. I do know Stewart said a few years ago he couldn't work with his brother anymore.

In any case, Miles is saving himself a whole lot of aggravation right now, lol. He is still touring with BDSS, which rocks, by the way.

Miles is incredible at finding talent and getting it out there for people to hear, but for whatever reason they all seem to find other management in the end.

I can't pretend to know why, but whatever the reason is it may be why he's not involved this go-round.

I was once visiting a record company in London with my mate & sound engineer Roger Lomas (who I still work with recording live concert audio for DVD) Roger has been the F.O.H engineer for The Specials , The Beat, Bad Manners, The Selecter etc etc. He was tour managing The Special Beat at the time & Miles was sorting out a U.S tour.

Anyway at the labels office someone said Miles Copeland was coming in. Everyone was shitting themselves running round in blind panic. I 've never seen that before so he was certainly a nonsense old school manager.

have read somewhere, either in the uk press or on another forum, that Miles is planning a reality tv show to find the 'best police tribute band in the world'. Perhaps this is where miles is trying to cash in on all of this?? it is not like miles to miss a good business opp.
