For me it was kind of edge of the seat stuff when they were talking during the webcast...
I kept thinking 'Please dont anyone say something to ruin it'!
Is is a good idea to give Stewart a mike in between songs? I think he's hillarious but he does always seem to rub Sting up the wrong way... I liked the bit at the end in the rehearsal clips when Stewart was suggesting they play a song they dont know and Sting was reminding him it was show business... splendid - Stweart RULES and of all of them he has still got IT - still love that snare sound.
It was great to see them - hope they keep it (and each other) together!

It was great!
Good to hear Stewart asking what we thought about the samples / do wop babes too!

I totally agree. As much as I'm thrilled to the point of not being able to breathe about these shows, I'm also nervous that friendly banter could turn acidic really fast. Having said that, I thought Stewart was hysterical. I just don't think anyone else takes the piss out of Sting like he does!
Now, about that Philly show.....

At this point Sting deserves some shit from Stewart after making him (and us!) wait so damn long!

Yeah - Im glad Stewart mentioned the samples... it sounds good but it takes something away from the live feel I think (I prefer warts and all like the earlier Police shows pre Ghosts in the Machine)- when I saw the Grammys clip at first I could work out where the other 'Sting' was coming from. Though I know Sting has been using samples for years so he may be reluctant to change... he is their 'dear leader' after all;

It seemed that question made Sting uncomfortable. Notice his 'Next question' quip? I also noticed how they didn't answer the question about recording new material. Maybe it isn't out of the question???

Yes I thought it was odd that none of the journalists really pushed for information on new material - do you think they had been warned not to ask?
It was surely the most obvious question after 'why did you get back together?'.
I think we can guarantee a Police Live 2007 LP though...

Did anyone catch the interviews during the credits of the webcast? It was nice to see Sting admit to feeling 'nostalgic' and deciding three months ago to call the boys. I am pleasantly shocked to see him behave this way!
Thanks Stew, Andy and Sting for making so many of us happy!

I just hope it is destiny that they do tour for sure. Sting could get pissed off or whatever and bang, that'll be it!
I agree that the " rape, pillage, world domination" comments by Stew were a bit over the top, especially since the tour doesn't even start till May. Anything could happen by then, but I will pray on it!
Stew, please make this happen for us.. please! It is important to our souls to see you guys perform live.

Totally agree with this thread - some answers weren't given and you could feel something could kick off with the "F sharp minor" comments!

If Sting backed out, it'd be terror for ticketmaster and sales.
There's no way they'll back out. Might not add more dates, but they're definitely playing.
