Yes, I was very happy to see that they included Ian. How could they not?

It was a bittersweet moment for all Police fans I think.

Dang I missed it. After Beyonce and Mary K Blige, I had had enough.

I'm afraid so. Plus, BSG was on.

Agreed. I had the great honor of meeting Mr. Copeland at the Virgin signing in NYC for Everyone Stares, and I really wanted to express my condolences then; but I was so nervous I could barely croak out how much I loved his work, plus I wasn't sure if that was the appropriate venue. Truly a great man who is missed.

OK. What is BSG (sorry, I'm not that hip). Also, was there a tribute to New Wave? I Tivoed it, so I can look it up. Please, do tell!

Ugh, I think I get a few nerd points there-- BSG = battlestar galactica.
"The best show on tv.." and I agree compared to most of the grammy's...
I hope to see the tribute on youtube soon. CHEERS

Yes, I hope too.
Never met Ian personnaly, but 'discussing' with him via his board or by e-mail was a nice experience. He was really unique.
