World Times for Webcast

World Times for Webcast

Postby New Zealand Promoter on 10 Feb 2007 01:20

Is anybody out there savvy enough to create a list of local times for major places around the world at which the webcast starts?

I'm from South Australia - we could start there ;) hehe

If it is at 2pm Eastern on the 12th, then for me it is at 11am (Pacific Time).

The time zone converter says that Lima Peru is 3 hours ahead of Vancouver which would mean you are at the same time as Eastern. i.e. 2pm your local time.

In Southern Australia it should be Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at 5:30:00 AM.

Check it again yourself to be sure though...I'm not responsible if you miss it! :D

An eleven in the morning show is pretty early... these guys must love the morning. I'm totally not a morning person and couldn't even begin to sing or play guitar then.

This link shows you corresponding times for cities around the globe for Monday's webcast.

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/f ... in=0&sec=0

You can see that New York (Eastern Time) is 2pm, Vancouver is 11am (Pacific).

Just find your city and your set...

And no...I couldn't imagine playing a gig that early in the day either...especially singing! Even for a news conference, that's a little early for me! :D

It'll be at 8:00 pm in France, so 7:00 pm in the UK I think. Please check this: I don't want you to hate me if I make a mistake!

Because I live in Vancouver :D , and Los Angeles is in the same time zone as Vancouver (Pacific time).

Just look at that second link I posted with times all around the world that correspond to Los Angeles at 11am on Monday.

Has anyone sussed out what time the grammy awards actually start,
it says on sting.com 8pm et/pt. Strange, I thought there was about 3 hours difference between et and pt!
