Dream venue?

Ok, I've had a crap day (won't go into the very depressing details) so I want to start something fun and stop getting ticked about the contest at the Whiskey.

If you could see the Police anywhere in the world, what venue would you like to see them in?
My votes:
1. Red Rocks
2. Wrigley
3. Royal Albert Hall (does this even still exist?)
4. Wembley
5. Fenway

Any club small enough that it doesn't have seats.

Dive, in your avatar, are you with a real shark?

I can't stand losing this idea trough my mind after The Police next show...

Four real sharks, actually. :) Surprised you missed my long boring post about sharks the day I put up my avatar...here it is in a nutshell: Not all sharks are great whites, and mostly they leave humans alone. We don't taste as good as fish, I guess!

I'd have to say the Gorge at George, WA.

I saw Sting there for the Mercury Falling tour, so he was at the peak of solo Sting power with Vinnie Colaiuta pounding out the beats....I mean, he's no Stewart obviously, but by far the best drummer Sting has had in his solo days.

Dallas, I was gonna say that too!

Conroy, it was the Last Chance Saloon. It's still there, as far as I know but now it's called The Chance.

One of my coworkers was the audio board op for the Last Chance gig. At first I thought he was full of it, but he doesn't even care about the Police and had no idea it was part of the "Police lore", so I think he's telling the truth.

That Gorge place is gorgeous! (Sorry, no pun intended) That looks even more beautiful than Red Rocks and it seats about 11,000 more people!

How's the sound quality? Are there hotels and parking nearby or do you pretty much have to camp out?

Now I'm excited about the Gorge too! The ultimate would be if they played there the weekend after my anniversary in May. Before the Police rumors came out, we had been planning to go to Spokane for a few days on vacation, just because we liked Seattle so much we wanted to see more of Washington. We could do both!

Mister Gradenko - I am with you on Hope & Anchor and Albert Hall, but I'm so not into Wembley Stadium. Hyde Park would be lovely though. Or as the last ever gig at the Astoria - that I would love.
