Isn't envy or anything, I love THE POLICE would visited many continents as possible but why elected some places and other no???

Here in Latin America ( North, Central and South America) we are around 600 million peoples... lot of our countries are stablized economies, emergents countries, have liberal socio-economical rules, and have outstanding places to make concerts... WHY???

So Andy, Sting, and Stewart kick off stupid monetary and contractual show business industry barriers to re-enter again the continent that follows you so hard and on that you lent more than a simple influence into the latin american rock scene!!!

Your latin fans wait you from Acapulco Mexico, through Panama Canal, to Andes of Peru - I mean the coast of Lima, to sunny coast of Rio, till Buenos Aires city!!!

Rgards from Peru,

JOSE 8)

PS: by the way Roger Waters from Pink Floyd will play a gig in Lima on March 12th

it seems like Sting and Andy have both spent a lot of time in Brazil, so maybe they will also play South America!

I hope they do.

Don't forget Stewart made an amazing trip with Andy...during their "Rush Hour Tour" in Brazil 1989

So they really know Latin America since 1980 till 1982..and then as solo stars!!!

I think your adoration for the band is really charming, Jose, and I hope you get your wish. I'm sure if they can make it happen at all, they will. Till then, I'll post any info I see on any Miami dates, which would probably be the most affordable for you. Keep it real! DotD

Thanks pal... to be not confused... I really love americans, europeans, australian, kiwies, africans or asians all what I met when I went abroad were very cool with me... is only a bit of healthy envy...is like the song:

There's a little black spot on the sun today
(That's my soul up there)
It's the same old thing as yesterday
(That's my soul up there)
There's a black hat caught in a high tree top
(That's my soul up there)
There's a flag-pole rag and the wind won't stop
(That's my soul up there)

I have stood here before inside the pouring rain
With the world turning circles running 'round my brain
I guess I'm always hoping that you'll end this reign
But it's my destiny to be the king of pain

They could easily sold 5 River Plate´s stadiums (circa 40.000 persons per show). 2 or 3 Maracana stadium (circa 12.000 persons per show), and that´s only considering two countries.

If we add to Argentina and Brasil countries like Chile, Venezuela or Mexico (big populations), it´s worthy for them to come.

I do not know if I want to go to the country of the big fat maniac to see them. I prefer to travel to Australia, but the country of Mr. Bushy or his comic sidekick Tony... mmm... I do not think so.

Well about population... Chile have around 16 million people and Venezuela around 27 million people versus Peru 29 million ( Lima around 8 million) hehehehe!!!

I like London but for me is so hard to go to first world (visas) and it means Miami too...
