PLEASE, can you just tell us that IF it happens, all us guys and gals (backstage, SC.net and Stingus.net) will get a first shot at tickets ?
It would be really nice if there could be a gesture towards the diehard fans here so that we may get to see you guys together one last time.
Cheers and regards
George

Just as long as the Sting.com subscribers don't get the jump on the rest of us...
Still, who wants to bet that there'll be some kind of "club" to join on the new tour website, that might offer presale tickets of some kind? At least it would be fair from an 'even starting line' point-of-view...

Yeah, but what's the degree of intensity towards that club? I wish they would have made an official site years back with a club and all, that would have avoided some.
Perhaps they should just make a club on Stewart's.
Stewart's Pals. Hahaha!
Any club for the Police and I'm there. This much is obvious for all of us.

Bleh. I dunno, guys...U2 had that club and all the scalpers beat folks to tickets. I'll agree I think they'll try very hard to hook up the true fans, but we'll just have to wait and see what the demand is going to be like.

What is the difference between true fans or any other fans?
How can a true fan can be recongized?
I think that if someone want to see The Police and pay for it, he/she is a fan.
But don't forget our lovely trio or our lovely drummer, didn't say anytying about a tour yet...

i, like everyone else here, have been gasping for more details ever since i heard the rumours.... and i hope that i'll not have to spend £100's just to be at the back of some draughty atmosphere-less aircraft hanger with a pair of binoculars
i think they should do the Hammersmith Palais and Odeon travelling between the two in an armoured jobby; like they did before; or 20 nights at brixton academy...
did i read a thing saying that the U2 fans missed out on tickets due to lack of allocation to the fan club?
if i dont get a ticket i'm going to lose my kool!
and i've warned my fiancee that if i get a ticket for the 22nd of september that i'll be missing my wedding! she wasn't happy...... but i've only wanted to marry her for 2 years; i've wanted to see The Police for about 25!

Hi guys,
I agree with the comments posted here. I read a lot about "true" fans, which means precisely nothing. If you take into account the amount of records the Police have shifted, I guess there are millions of true fans. Also, is it the business, or even inclination, for a band member to concern himself with ticket allocation? I guess if this forum was for subscribing members, it might - might - just happen.
As far as ordinary forum members of a free website are concerned, there won't be any preferential treatment. Stewart is not exactly a "hands-on" website contributor, and I would suggest this website is probably the very last thing on his mind at the moment.

Is hard for us to face it, but I think is an absolute true...

You think Stewart isn't "hands-on"? You think he doesn't care what his fans think?
I don't mean to be rude, sincerely, but I couldn't disagree more.

Fans cannot be better than others....but I would consider some sort of 'respect' for fans subscribed to websites, forums or any other association that clearly states these people would deserve a better 'recognition' than others..... buying better tickets than others for example....

"but i've only wanted to marry her for 2 years; i've wanted to see The Police for about 25!"
OK. That is funny. True and totally understandable, but funny.
