Stewart using a MARIMBA (see the rehearsal space photo)

Behind the drums, stage right, there appears to be a marimba or a xylophone. The tube like resonators are clearly visible. This means that Stew will have a percussion setup behind the drums - like the Synchronicity tour, or more recently, the Oysterhead tour. What songs had the xylo? King of Pain. Any others? Footsteps maybe?

Unless they are playing King of Pain at the Grammies, this setup appears to be for a rehearsal for a tour; not just one song.

cool cool... and Andy's got 3 guitars lined up there. I doubt they'd do 3 different songs which require 3 different guitars for the Grammy performance (for example, even when they did 3 songs for the RnR Hall of Fame performance, Andy used the same guitar for all 3 songs).

and you know what else makes me think it's REALLY gonna happen? no one has come out to deny it. When Pink Floyd announced their Live 8 show, there were rumours of a tour, and then they came out and made statements like "no, there won't be any tour... this is just a one-off thing for Live 8". you know. if there was nothing to hide, then they wouldn't be saying "hey, we haven't announced a tour", they'd be saying "hey, we're not touring".

which means what?

I saw the New Cars in December. Both Eliott Easton and Todd Rungren had a rack of guitars, some doubled. They played about 4 of them out of the
25 or so they brought.

Ok I don't have a point.
