My thoughts about the Police (and Sting)

well,
I was born in 1966..
so my first connection with the Police was when I was 13...
I remember to see Sting on German tv with Eberhard Schoener...
I´d like his voice but I didn´t like the music he made as that time...
then everybody told me about the Police...
I was a Beatles/Rolling Stones fan at that time...
that means I wasn´t very excited about any new bands... LOL
but I had to hear the Police records...
and it was still magic...
it was the first time I ever began to listen to the drums...guitar,
and to the bass... and how it was all connected...
I began to collect all of their vinyls at that time...
After they split up I felt bad...
their music was a part of my life...
I bought Sting´s albums as a substitute...
and he made some good work I think...
but he never had the same power and energy like he had with Andy and Stewart...
it´s the same like the Beatles...
Lennon / Harrison /McCartney were never as good alone as they were together...
a band is more than it´s members...

the first time i saw The Police was in a small Detroit bar called Bookies Clube back in 1979 (i think) they did Roxanne and i looked at Sting and shouted OH-MY-GAWD THATS THE KID FROM QUADROPHINIA!

i adore the Who, and i was right (i never forget a face)

The Police Reunion 2007 means a dream I ever dreamed .... THE POLICE is the sound of my life... any chords, any beats, any voice from Fab3Blonds fill it up my soul... I remember be introduced to THE POLICE music by my best friend when I borrowed "Zenyatta Mondatta"... then I bought any thing about them... I don't know how to describe my emotion and significance in my life about THE POLICE... is the perfect band I discover in my life... it brings me joy, tears, any kind of emotions... every song has a different reaction in myself, perhaps a guitar cor bass line, besides a cymbal or drum beat...every little thing they did is magic... It means I love all what they did... I learnt the POLICE bass lines of some songs, I collect also Sting, Andy and Stewart solo works and I found on it perfection but isn't the same when I heard THE POLICE... now is hard to say what the reunion 2007 means for me, perhaps could be strongly hard for me to approach this unique period of time to meet them on stage for my first time, more of it comes to doesn't been a first world citizen and all of it means hard and difficult to climb barriers for reaching THE POLICE REUNION CONCERT 2007...if it could happen will be like to raise heaven.... in spite of the fact...Thanks Andy, Stewart and Sting to fill my life with your outstanding music.

Yeah. It isn't that I don't love SC's music and writing and stuff, but I also really like getting to chat with folks from the four corners of the earth on a daily basis. Very, very cool. And most of them have good taste, to boot. :)

Yeah man, definitely! This is a big dream! I can't wait to stand there, waiting, and just knowing it's going to happen. And hearing the first chords come.
