Has anyone checked this out? If you go to thepolice2007.com it asks for username and password.
Can anyone fill in the blanks.
Cheers

Yeah there's another thread about it.
Has anyone tried guessing the name and password? Just me? I tried obvious stuff, then started putting in random stuff like "bannana" and "pickle". Hey.... worth a shot?

Nah, no luck here- I tried all variations I could think of- Stewart, Klark Kent, yadda yadda yadda... no dice.
I think Giovanni needs to let one person in a day and swear them to secrecy! Considering the rabid fans we all are, I'd like to think we could uphold our end of the bargain just for the sneek peek- I know I would!

Sorry but I'm not involved in that website even if some suggestions may have arrived from me...I still got to discover a lot from that website...I'll get news at the same time you will get them, as I will see how it is when it will be opened (I bet they will open in a few days after the Grammy...but that's just my though, I don't really know that much about).

I sware... not Stewart's! I have to much respect for the man to do that.
The only atempt I ever got right was typing in Library at the "Library"... lucky guess
.
Although I am now curious what it was.
And not that I like doing it, I would like to get it though, and see the site. But who here wouldn't?

Maybe ask Spec A the same question , Mr. Gradenko. It looks like he/she openly admits trying out different passwords, and I did see his name as listed active online right before and after the newest Stew post ('hmmmm').
Cue the theme from Dragnet!! (dum-da-dum-dum DUM!)

Of course, for that matter, it could have been me, grant, or any number of people who do not allow their name to show when online so ummm....nevermind I guess...
I'll just stop trying to crack the hacking case and stick to waiting for February 11th.

We're just the only ones that admit to guessing, I bet most of the people here did.
I do wonder if by mentioning it I gave the hacker the idea... but probably not.
I wonder what Stewart's password was. I bet it was the name of the closest kid, or something like that. Allot of people use names, one of the most common is sports teams, hope it wasan't his wife's name (high up on the list), that would be so easy to google. Or maybe even the brand of monitor he owns (my Dad uses that, for his computer) ....I did a project for class on it years ago, remembered abit. Why do I remember useless information, but can't recall what the quadratic formula was for (can still recite it though!)?
Am I the only one that now uses Google as a verb?

its a bit harsh to start accusing people of hacking accounts just because they tried to access that website.

but only cos Im desperate to know whats going on.
I need to book my summer holidays for july but I darent do it because the date i want to go is the rumoured uk dates.

it seems that any one of half a dozen web addresses take you to that website. it seems theyve bought up loads of variations

LOL! Nice, looks like we have a regular detective on the boards!
No it wasn't me (and I'm also a he btw). I've been anxiously awaiting this just as the rest of you have, but I'd never do anything to build up false hope amoungst us let alone endanger what we have going on in this forum!
You can't blame a guy for being curious about thepolicetour.com tho!

I dunno, guys. Isn't it kind of, um, bad manners to be trying to get information before the guys want us to? Stew in particular has a pretty good history of telling us things when he can, and I have to assume the only reason we don't know EVERYTHING is because of what would happen in the media. I'm sure Stewart and Gio, especially, would really love to tell us every single little detail, but because of all the sensationalism over this tour, they just can't.
Wish I could offer to front the cash or something so everyone would be sure to see our guys (cause I'm pretty good at getting tickets to things...lots of practice) but I personally will promise to post whatever I can that'll help people see them. Hang in there! Only a few more weeks. We've waited 23 years, what's a little more time? DotD

It may be impolite, but I don't care. If I managed manage it get in... I couldn't tell everyone, that would cause a lot of trouble.
