For all you drumheads out there, Paiste has recently posted Stewart's updated cymbal set-up. There's a link on their home page. Check out the new odd-sized crashes!

HMMMM. And just *why* would Stewart need a new cymbal setup?

You just have to wonder. ;)

Its a drummer thing.

When a company who makes cymbals comes out with new sounding ones the "top guys" are always trying them out.

Stewart (most drummers) is just keeping it fresh BABY!!!

(what? you're using my "Baby" now? - George Costanza - Seinfeld).

Cheers.

I know, I almost bought one when they first came out, but my brain talked my heart out of it. I do have one of the very first Rough Rides, however. It says "Patent Pending" underneath. I also got a 22" Dry Dark Ride. Very cool cymbal, great bell. Now both are extinct. I wish Paiste would bring back the Formula 602 cymbals. Remember Stewart's 13" Heavy Hi Hats? They were awesome. The new "Twenty" series looks interesting, though.

Pretty cool

It's been a while since I checked the Paiste site.

Like the way they have MP3's of the sounds the cymbals make so you can hear the difference between the different models.

I have been using Paiste 2002 heavy hats for many years now...I love em!

I have a few Rudes and a nice 22 ride (what name is it?) Cool ride I think.

Great stuff!

(but the best is still the Tama Copeland snare, Perfection!).

Cheers drummin dudes!

I agree about the snare. I thought nothing could ever replace my trusty old Ludwig Supraphonic, but the Copeland snare kicks the snot out of it.

Seen the police about 11 times in concert from 1979 to 1983, it was stewarts old set of cymbals that did it for me, like on the regatta de blanc album. I wonder if he still has them?
not so much more drumhead, now bass player

Yeah, the old Zildjians were cool as well. He probably still has 'em. My guess is that one of the boys is playing them along with the old royal blue Tamas.

Yeah, I have a couple of those too. My favorites are my turquoise colorsound hi-hats, though.
