Miles Copeland announced at AUI an audition who takes at Feb 10th to find the ultimate Police tribute band members to tour professionally around the world.

It *is* bizarre! Extremely so. Wonder if Miles has some plans to release a reality show featuring Police cover bands interacting with Stewart, Andy and Sting...

I don't think Miles would pull folks' chains in a mean way, though, so it's probably really a call for musicians. However, one person at AUI speculated it may be a veiled invite for some...event...

(If I lived close enough, I'd turn up and find out! As it is, guess we'll all have to rely on you left-coast SC.net folks to fill us in...)

I would think the whole site is a fake since Ian Copeland unfortunately passed away last year.

AUI is not fake and Miles has posted there before.

Ian used to be involved in the forum quite frequently, and many of us who became friends there still check in and use the board to stay in touch and help keep Ian's memory alive.
