It's with such a heavy heart that I have to post here to let you folks know that Nancyrose has passed away after a difficult battle with cancer.
If you'd like, you can check in with her husband Andy on his public Facebook post about it here: https://www.facebook.com/awilliamsny/posts/10164124355925235
and take a peep at just some of the many folks that came to know and love her, thanks to this here forum.
Love yous.

Thankful for this place, because I would not have met one of the most beautiful people in the world.

I just saw this terrible news via FB post by ginasupercat. Nancy shared a copy of one her Police Tour concert bootleg DVDs during one of the Nuttermas exchanges.. Her fb posts showed generosity & positivity. Her hubs Andy was a constant support.
Thank you DM for letting us Nutters know. So sad

When I created a community dedicated to Stewart Copeland, my intention was to meet a lot of other fans devoted to him, in order to meet each other at shows, before and after too, swapping stuff, having fun and share the joy of a common passion. I met amazing people, I had the pleasure to talk to many, while for some others the chance came only by internet (fb or forums). Your name is one of the well-known among all of us, nutters. It will remain, that's for sure. I personally thank you for your support, something I will never forget. It's not about how many times we had the chance to meet each other, but it's about the spirit you shared with all of us in our community of fans.
And I know for sure that Stewart Copeland himself has always been very happy about having people like you in our group of devoted fans.
One day we'll all be sharing again, all together, our passion, maybe at one of those great gigs in the sky.
My deepest condolences to the family.
Giovanni + Eugenio

Thanks DirtyMartini for posting.
I had known Nancy from before the reunion tour, through sting.com and some Sting events prior to 2007, but this space and that tour gave us many more opportunities to connect and then cemented a friendship that I will always treasure. Thanks Gio and Eugenio for keeping the site going all this time.
Warm wishes to all during this terrible time.
Susan

Shit. Just when you think 2020 could not get worse, it just keeps doing so.

^Truth.
In lieu of an in-person event (because COVID-19), the Williams family will be arranging a series of one-hour Zoom gatherings for Nancy's loved ones to come together, laugh, cry, and share stories.
The info relevant for this crew is
Celebration of Life and Remembrance of Nancy Williams
Time: Aug 13, 2020 06:30 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)
but I can't share the meeting details here in open public. So if you'd like to join (or even just considering it), dig me up on Facebook or send me an email, and I'll forward the info.
In addition, Mimi and I are collecting photos to assemble into a video slideshow for that day, so if you have a favorite photo of/with Nancy that you'd like considered for inclusion, please email the largest, highest-resolution version you've got to me. Email info in my profile under "Interests" (but if you know Nancy, odds are you already know how to contact me).
ONE photo maximum per person please. (We're a small team here with a short deadline.) We may not be able to include every single photo, so be selective and choose the one you think best captures Nancy's luminous essence, indomitable spirit, and/or kitschy, reindeer-horns-tiara-loving glory.
Photo deadline: 11:59 PM (EDT), Wednesday, Aug. 12.
Thanks, everyone. I love you. See you soon.
xoxo

EQ’s Salt Lake bump reminded me of this pic, where I was bear hugging Kellie after the most amazing concert experience of my life. My paw prints are probably still indelibly marked on her back, as the adrenaline was still fully nuking and I was on cloud 999. (Thanks again to Dietmar for snapping this timeless pic with my camera.)
Anyways the reason I’m reposting it here is because in the background you can see Nancy in tears of jubilation, genuinely happy for someone other than herself, which by all accounts was typical of her character.
Such a kind lady. Such a sweet soul. Condolences to her family and friends.
