Gizmodrome- Will They Tour?

Gizmodrome- Will They Tour?

Will Gizmodrome tour?

The album is out and there's silence. Does this mean no tour? Was the tour dependent on album sales? Does anybody know how sales are going? How many copies sold?

I hope they will do a few dates in major cities, al least. I'm sure this band would put on a kick-ass show.

It would totally suck if they don't tour. I was already very disappointed when Andy Summers put out a great rock album with Rob Giles as Circa Zero and they didn't tour, apparently because of a feud with the record company.

They will be touring. Belew has mentioned this several times on the press tours

Sure, they will tour but nothing's confirmed yet; they are planning some shows in 2018, maybe a couple of shows in Japan in December, but they're not confirmed yet.
Is too early to say how the sales are going, but they tour do not depend on the sales of the album; I'm pretty sure there will be more interest in the tour than in the record, and probably the sales will rise up when they will be on tour so that people can listen to the potential of the songs in their live status and will go and buy the cd.

Adrian Belew just posted on Facebook that he is "unavailable" for the Celebrating Bowie shows in the US. Those shows are in February and March 2018. I strongly suspect he plans to be touring with Gizmodrome during that time period.

I'm very happy to read the responses. There's hope for a tour.

I just read a newspaper article Stewart linked. It says

“I’m playing guitar and singing. I will do a lot of drums, but for the show we’ll have Level 42’s drummer, Pete Biggin.”

So there's a plan. WoooHooo!

PLEASE NOTE: concerning the Celebrating David Bowie tour dates which were just announced: I am definitely doing the shows in the UK Europe and I'm very excited about it.

however, Gizmodrome intends to be touring early next year as well and our rehearsals in Milan are now booked for February and early March. (can you imagine shuffling all these schedules? phew!)

long story short this means I am unable to do the US part of the CDB tour. the CDB band is meant to be a "revolving" lineup with guest artists coming and going. I hope to be a guest artist for more of the shows later in the year as my schedule allows.

It is sure to be a fabulous show in celebration of the entire span of Bowie's work, just as it was earlier this year. I look forward to being there as often as possible. I'm sorry it has taken this long for the pieces of the puzzle to fall into place, but that's how this business goes. ok?
