Hi Giovanni AND Eugenio!!

Can you please advise me of the best Italian prog rock sites / digital radio stations / etc for me to submit a press release / single release to? I'd really appreciate any advice you have. I know Italy loves prog!

Here's the story, FYI:

Eugenio is probably the man to ask. There's never been private messaging in my time.

Hi there, sorry but lately, as usual in the last few months, I really had not a lot of time to check all my places on the web.
Despite Prog music was born in Italy in the late Sixties and still remain a point of reference on the Italian music scene, there are not too many places on the web to go and read about it, beyond some forums of some of the main band still alive, such as PFM or BANCO DEL MUTUO SOCCORSO, etc...etc...
Anyway, here's one of the websites you may check:
http://www.movimentiprog.net/
These are the people involved in a magazine called Paperlate, that used to be a well-known paper fanzine for prog fans.
Gio

Ps.: I saw many prog band in the Seventies in a pop festival called RE NUDO (The Naked King); I was only 6 years old when I went for the first time at a Pop Festival, and most of the bands were prog.

the early records of Premiata Forneria Marconi are some of the best prog records of the Seventies, but you can also listen to bands such as New Trolls, Raccomandata con ricevuta di ritorno, Metamorphosi, Quella vecchia locanda, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso...these are all bands that left a mark; there are many more, but you can start with them (only their records from the Seventies. Many of them became pop bands in the late Seventies or in the Eighties.
