Wow.
My BF from U days (and still!) got to meet DEVO in person back in the day, she would have been only 15 or 16, and actually kissed one of them in a taxi (she can't remember which one, but she says it was the cute one :shock: ). Still has the ticket, which I believe is provenance per antiques roadshow.
I need to call her about this tonight!

Another childhood band that I didn't get to see in the day but got to finally see play live a few years ago and wished I'd gone to more shows when I had the chance :(.

Spoke w/ my DEVO-bussing friend last night, and she hadn't heard about this. Was sad to have heard.....
She did say that 'her' DEVO was Bob's brother....at least she is almost certain!
So, we are down to two 'minor' Ramones (when the last Ramone finally dies, I wanna' be sedated-already made THAT t-shirt), no Joe Strummer, Flock Of Seagulls singer gone-I am glad Our Guys have good constitutions & whatever they are doing for health, to ensure future music.
