Any word on whether us Statesiders are going to be able to view JTTOU Season 2 via streaming vid or alternative means?
How about a recap from the Londoners??

Yeah, I've never gotten to see it. I never liked American Idol, but want to see Stewart make fun of people.

Wish I had the technology to help with this.
To recap: Same format exactly as previous series - a couple of different singers in the couples (including the dire Carol Decker from T'Pau and the distinctly creepy Marti Pellow from Wet Wet Wet) and a new selection of soap actors, sportsmen and TV presenters to work with them. Same judges but for the addition of Tito Jackson (as a replacement for the vile Lulu) - who is a bowler-hatted self-referential nutjob by the way.
By the end of the week I was really tired of the show - I found it impossible to muster any reaction at all to the insanely average 'acts' and Stew got so over the top by the end it just freaked me out a bit! It's not our hero's finest hour, although I'm sure it was massive fun for him as his cheeky sly grins indicated.
In short - only for the die-hard fans. Which is us lot I guess!

Curious and frank assessment Hannah. Yeah, methinks i still would like to check it anyway. Stewart Copeland is the only reason i can think of for tuning in to one of those things!

Mrs G: I'd like to see Stewart make an appearance on our version of this no-talent show, "Canadian Idiot". It would be all he could do to not make fun of these people. I lasted through 10 minutes of one episode and I had to change the channel. I felt embarassed for these people. The show amounts to a summer-long karaoke contest at best with Canada's number one tool Ben Mullroney hosting.
