Condolences possibly, are in order.

I was looking up a later book of Miles Copeland Jr on line here at Library job, one I saw on Wikipedia (Game Player), and in another link I went to, saw that Lorraine Copeland (mother not sister) passed away this May 2013 in France. If so, my condolences to Stewart and his siblings. To go from Code breaking to archaeology-but then that is a kind of code breaking too, I guess), and raise a family. Amazing.

Actually, I think this could be very true. Stewart posted pictures of France on Instagram around that time.

My condolences to you, Stewart and your family.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Stewart, Lennie, and Miles' mom.

What an incredible and full life it was. Spy for the British during WW II, noted Middle-East archaeologist, wife to a major CIA spy, and mother of 4 remarkable children.

Here is what Stewart's brother Ian had to say about thier Mom's background for British Intelliegenc during WWII in his (great) memoir "Wild Thing":

"A pretty Sottish lass, Elizabeth Lorraine Adie was working for British Intelligence in the planning of sabatoge mission behind enemy lines. As an agent for SOE (Special Operations Executive) she specialized in blowing up bridges and derailing German troop trains."

Here is the Wikipedia page on her, which also discusses her role as a noted archeologist:

This was a really nice tribute article, thank you Gio. Yes, God Bless & take care, to all the Copelands.
I hope this wasn't too personal to have brought up, and am sorry if so, it just took me by surprise when I was looking for info on that Game Master book.
