I heard this guy on a two-year-old broadcast of Radiolab, a WNYC-FM series available free via podcast, that way more people should listen to because it's amazing.

They did a rare music-only live show that featured three artists who deserve more attention. Whom many of you no doubt already know about.

The middle act was Glenn Kotche from Wilco, who did a bit that sounded a bit like David van Tiegham had come back and relaxed just a bit.

Go have a listen. http://www.radiolab.org/blogs/radiolab- ... us-sounds/

And if you're the podcasting kind of person, consider subscribing to Radiolab, because everything about this series is compelling and necessary.

Love Kotche. Have gotten to see him twice lately, always a treat.

Wilco recently did an all requests show where they did all covers. There are recordings of this floating around. Very much worth a listen if you can find it.

Yeah, I've got it - it's all over most of the sharing sites, including Dime. Wish to hell I could have been at that show, they did a cover of "Tomorrow Never Knows" at a Nashville gig about two weeks ago and it was monumental. Their covers are always sublime.

Kinda sucks for me personally they always have the Solid Sound festival a $$$$$$ plane flight away in Boston, when Wilco itself is based in Chicago ($). But having seen them almost as many times as The Police ;), I can't really sit here and complain...
