Happy 30th to the Sgt. Pepper's of the 80s!!! It still sounds as fresh today as it did when I was 18.

Whoa  , 30 years...... The opening bars of Synchronicity I and Miss Gradenko, genius. I still get into the same sort of groove for both.
Wow, 30 years.....once again, Big Thanks to The Guys for such great music which has continued to hold up so well over this time (I have much younger co-workers at my backpacking packing store job who STILL say, On man The Police, those guys ROCK, Dude!-to which I say I am not a dude...... )-even thanks to Sting :-) .

Yes, as much as I enjoy Synchronicity & Ghost in the Machine (which has my 2 favs, Every Little Thing & Darkness), Regatta de Blanc is my Police "go to" album/CD hands down, start to finish.
Still LOVE the opening bars of Synch I & Miss Gradenko.....

so when is the reasonably-priced celebratory boxset (packed with studio out-takes and alt mixes, the rehearsals for tour and the remastered, previously unavailable live show out, then?

oh no, that's right.

It's not.

I would be very happy for unreasonably-priced celebratory boxset at this point, like Sting's $100 25 years box set (which I didn't purchase).

yup, that's the worst thing about this band at the moment: the complete lack of exploitation of their fans.

what no 30th anniversary release of synch  ... EVERY other band on the planet would have milked that holy cow til, erm, its teats ran dry.

i just (gordo) don't under(gordo)stand why 'they' do (gordo) not release some stuff for (gordo) us poor, ravenous (gordo), dvd-player, ear-owning, merchandise-buying fans. :|
