OT: Heavy Clouds, But No Sting?

Can it be that Sting is absent from the Queen's Jubilee celebration and concert?

Is this because of his political beliefs? (or possibly that he just wants to get out of the country before Stewart's arrival?)

He's doing shows in the US, was in Illinois today, presumably after this short tour leg he's back to work on his musical.

I wondered if his CBE would get upgraded...surprised it has not yet. Maybe the Crown is miffed that "Englishman in New York" is one of his most popular (non-Police) songs. That's okay, we will gladly keep him! :mrgreen:
