Debating Philly for this. Will see how obnoxiously expensive the tickets are (if too bad, I'll just go see The Musical Box again this fall, since Denis sounds almost more like Peter than Peter does these days...)

I'm waiting for more dates to be added, but since he's not getting any younger, and he's been so damn allergic to guitars and drums in recent years, I'm really hoping not to miss this chance.

ETA: I imagine some audience somewhere would be pretty damn tickled to hear the hihats done right on "Red Rain," Stewart Copeland...

I am SO there!! Can't wait. Now if only Stewart will join the tour for his guest spot on Red Rain and Big Time. Maybe even Accross the River??!! Can you get him into the Sacred Grove for a few new wine-fuelled tracks Stewart?

I still think it's Stewart's voice at the beginning of Big Time.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I listened to it the other day.

Now, if they could only get Stewart and Stanley to open for Peter.

It's NOT?
I've been wrong for twenty five years :?:
Plan on going to either Hollywood Bowl Saturday October 6th or take a sick day Tuesday October 9th and road trip up to Santa Barbara Bowl (amazing venue to see a show).
Right now Santa Barbara is the last date but they will probably add more.
He is supposed to do the whole album back to front with a lot of the '87 original So musicians. I was there for an '87 show in MA.
SoCal dates, So album being played in it's entirety, could there be special guests, mmmmmmm......one can dream

I am so goddamn excited to see this soon, I just had to post. I'm just freaking waiting for the tickets to arrive.

Anyone else in? I'm really surprised to see how few dates there are, and nothing has been added (yet?).

^Exactly. Quite strange considering the amount of work going into it.

But I've got tickets in hand and am so ready for Jones Beach! Will totally be worth the hassle of trekking out there. YAY.

Anyone betting on Laurie Anderson joining him on "Excellent Birds" for a show or two?

So excited for Hollywood Bowl. It would be wonderful if Stewart came out onstage. As far as Big Time, I never thought that was Stewart in the beginning. It's Peter's voice mixed differently - to my ears anyway.

Caught this tour in Toronto last night. Peter splits the show into three parts. Acoustic, full band and then the So album itself. It was incredible and much better than the Symphony tour which I also saw last summer.

No Stewart and no Laurie Anderson but the back-up girls from Sweden do a great job. Maybe Stewart in LA? All the players from the original tour are there and just watching Tony, the two Davids, and Manu play together is incredible in and of itself.

Try to catch it if you get a chance. You won't be disappointed!
