Some souvenir from Stewart playing a pickpocket on one of the episode.

Nice find.
Actually, since April 2nd the whole TV series "Equalizer" (all four seasons) is being shown on a new TV channel "RTL Nitro" here in Germany.
I used to watch some episodes of this series back in the late 80s/early 90s so it's nice too watch it again.
Interesting is that in the first season (1985/1986) many snippets from the "Rhythmatist" were used for the TV score,
in one episode I even hear some "Strange things happen"-like stuff (y'know, country style with banjo and so on...).

That was a good episode. The exchange between Stewart and Edward Woodward is priceless! That's also the episode where the Equalizer threatens a bad guy with "I'm going to take you apart, piece by nasty little piece!"
Priceless!

That was from the 3rd season and I believe it was the last episode Stewart scored. I wish they'd get around to releasing the rest of the series on DVD. This was a great episode that featured Steven Buscemi and John Goodman before they were household names.
You can hear a bit of the 12" Gong Rock remix in the episode from the first season with Adam Ant playing a character who ran a sex slave operation.

I remember that episode! So much fun! My parents used to watch the show with me, and every week I'd cheer when STEWART's name came on the screen. EVERY TIME.
Funny thing is, I think I'd still do that now.

To me the best part was Stewart's trademark tall lanky sway dance as he made his way through the dance club.

Which episode was this? I want to look it up on youtube. I watched this show every week, but I must have lost interest and missed out on this episode with Stewart in it. Though, once i see it again, that could possibly shake some memories loose. ha

I stand corrected. This was from the last episode (episode 22) of season two so it wasn't the last episode Stewart scored. It was entitled "Re-Entry"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0572575/This is the scene that featured Steve Buscemi that directly preceded Stewart's pick pocket sequence:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFfNzzpNP5IStewart came back for season 3 with the 10th episode of that season ("The Rehearsal") being the last episode that Stewart scored.
ETA: Here's the sequence with Stewart that I recorded back in the day. My parents didn't have cable until after I graduated from high school so this was over the air about 60 miles away from the station so I apologize for the quality of the video.

Me too! There is a used car lot near where I live, and recently they had that model of Jaguar from the opening sequence on the lot, and I instantly thought of the show. Edward Woodward was brilliant!
