During a chat with their fans by a twitter account called @MadonnaMDNAday someone ask her: "What place of the world would you want to go?" and she replied: "I want to go to PERU!" It happened using the hashtag #ASKMADONNA for the launching of her latest album called "MDNA".

It is not the first star who wants to visit Peru, on recent years names like Andy Summers, Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Bono, Sting and others discovering an amazing corner of the world in a country that gives ancient culture, mysterious and mistic land, rainforest environment, dune desserts like the sahara, enigmatic signs to the sky, Machu Picchu, the sacred Titicaca Lake in the Altoplano of Peru, native communities on the Andes and Rainforest of Peru, warm and friendly people, amazing gastronomy, practicing extreme sports, fun at nights in Cuzco and Lima, panoramic sightseeings, wide biodiversity, great beaches and ancient surfing, and an entrepreneur country with economic stability...all of this in one place... So, come on Stewart, Peru needs you also 8)

Morrisey just sent a public letter that says that his recent Tour to South America (including Peru) is the best thing that happened into his life:

The Police File Magazine # 7 (1980) in the editorial page the director of the mag wrote about the intention of The Police and Miles to travel to Peru -the Land of the Incas- for making a show and filming some scenes of the movie "Polcie Around The World" at those days Peru started a decade of violence (Terrorism) in spite of the fact other bands from the region came some years after and each one of them causes hysteria... I really & strngly think if The Police decided to make it visit to Peru on december 1980, was be an historic moment for the band... besides the fever and hysteria that visit caused on peruvians fans it will be definetely the date to conquer Latin America...a show in Peru will be an atom bomb nothing to do what I saw the same year in Argentina, Mexico or at Brazil & Venezuela in 1982. Finally it never happened and The Police waste two great chances on the 80's and at 2007.
