Hi nutters and sorry Gio for doing this but i can not choose and i know you guys have a wonderful taste

I am looking at 8 Persian rugs and need help to choose so let me know which one you like

The last one in your third post gets my vote. I don't like the ones that are so red.

Or maybe the second one in your second post.

I like the last one in the second post (mostly black with gold, as I see it). Looks a lot like the rug we have in our living room

I think it really depends on where you're putting it and if there's going to be furniture on it. Like the absolute last one, actually...

What does the rest of the room look like? What are the colors? I got an oriental runner in the past 6 mos.
I considered the color of the walls, sofa, etc. Also, if it would hide hairball and the occasional cat vomit stains adequately.

For the dark ones I like the one in the last frame. For the red ones I like the middle one in the first frame.

I like the two dark ones best. If you want red, I think the second one in the first post is the best.

I hope this is helpful, Jan (and not more confusing). The real judge would be Stewart who probably really knows his Persian carpets. He would be asking country of origin and questions about the weave/weaver, etc.

Jan, you've got alot of color in that room for starters so you might want to go with one of the darker rugs. I will defer to Dive and SS on this one because I'd just pick the rug I like best and to hell with the color scheme.
