There is this once a year music weekend here in Cincinnati called "Music Now!" that a locally based group began a few years ago. Well, in Feb. 07 (or was it 08?) Ben Verdery who recorded "First You Bulid a Cloud" w/ Andy Summers, was featured one night, a fantastic guitarist marvelous show, and this year PHILLIP GLASS    will be here one night w/ 8th Blackbird!! Cannot wait, and will give a report if anyone is interested after the show! It is the last weekend in Feb., I'll have to go after the Vintage Modern show a t the convention center-a true died-and-gone-to-heaven weekend!!
Hope this brings a positive music note to the NutterNet......(wink!)

Ok, it's PHILIP not Phillip, and the event is 28 MARCH not 28 Feb., which is good because I won't have to leave that Vinatge Modern design show in such a hurry, hahahaha......never should have too much of a good thing all at once!
Would reall love to hear Eistein on the Beach in live, but that won't be on the docket am sure. Any Glass is Good Glass to my ears tho'. Now if they could've just gotten Steven Reich one of the other evenings, woooo......!

"1..2..3..4.. (waves sound in background while conversation ensues on bench....)" Einstein on the beach, hooked me from the get-go. Yes, this can be booked online thru MusicNow Cincinnati 2012. And it is on a Friday night. I have to get a ticket still, I need to hurry!

Hello drummike-I was home sick Th/Fr of last week, from Library job, and no computer at home. The venue is Memorial Hall in OTR Cincinnati next door to Music Hall. I am going to try and call the MusicNow! folks tonight, to see if possible to get a ticket ahead of time for "gasp" cash, not going thru a 3rd party website (no plastic for falcon...easier for me). I hope to see y'all there if it all works out, and I will be OFF the Friday of this show, so if y'all would care to meet for coffee ahead of time, ket me know closer to the event. Or not, which is ok too, I understand just wanting to go hear the music w/ no social-'specially w/ some Nutter somethin'
Enjoy!
