Forthcoming POLICE release for their 30th Anniversary!

Postby Jose on 28 Dec 2006 20:25

Expecting what THE POLICE could do or their label is planning to celebrate THE POLICE 30th anniversary... I found this rumour on AUI:

...expect an exciting Police release which will satisfy the die hards (and general music fans)... and i'm not talking about Police Around The World DVD (with Police In The East as a confirmed extra).

Happy New Year,

Craig Betts

I know what it's going to be.
But I'm not allowed to tell. If I did, I would be killed.

Well, everbody dies...

is it

a) THE POLICE - eau de toilette
b) THE POLICE - the musical
c) something else ?

hint: it's c)

I think Craig have the first hand response.... don't forgive he collaborated with the synchro pics at the cover sleeve of the reamastered Omni Atlanta Concert on DVD!

So perhaps he'd some requested from Universal/AM to support them again for a forthcoming POLICE 30th anniversary stuff!!!

Come on Craig...some clues please!!!!!!!!!!

NEW POLICE DVD/CDs TO BE EXPECTED IN 2007

30 years of The Police will see itself reflected in some exciting new releases next year, one of them being the mid 2007 release of The Police Around the World DVD. The Police in the East will be featured as extra with footage that was not included in both documentaries.

Also, Message in a box vol 2 will be released, including the remainder of the commercially released back catalogue, but this time really EVERYTHING, including the missing tracks from the previous versions.

Soon more news on these and some other releases.

from stingus.com (OOPS> it's really www.stingus.net). Thanks, dietmar.

There are lot more 'issues' in the can, but I sincerely don't know exactly what will be confirmed in 2007 beyond what stingus.com is revealing...

Wooooooooow is really trueeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

Why not a "new" POLICE song ( I mean one or two ) into a new hits album like "Sting" made with "Fields of Gold" or like "The Beatles" made in 1997 with the voice of John Lenon and the rest of the survivors of the Liverpool quartet?

PS: By the way, I didn't find any new on stingus.com .... It domain dissapears...
