No hurricane force winds in Vegas, but they are plenty strong enough to wreak havoc with my allergies. And I already had a cold on top of it.

Thanks for checking Dive. Was trying to find the What’s It Doing Outside Thread to post and saw your Thread.
Pretty wild in Southern California. Winds like I have very rarely seen.
I have Oak Trees in front of my house and a small Fichus tree I recently planted on my front lawn. Heard a noise last night and looked out the window, a big branch from the oak was touching the ground and the little tree was sideways. Never seen anything like that. It was like an optical illusion because I was looking at my front yard but everything was in a different place than it should be. Fortunately nothing came down and my new little tree survived (glad I have been adding layers of dirt the last few months).
The town east of me Pasadena has been hit pretty hard, powers out, schools closed, a lot of damage. They said they had winds of 100mph last night.
Suppose to have one more night of bad winds tonight and then it is supposed to be done. Winds could hit 65 mph tonight. Couple hundred thousand don’t have power.

Nothing that will keep me from The Stooges tonight, Dive!

Ok, nobody else said it yet, so I will - the winds of Santa Ana are blowing again! Seriously, I hope everyone is OK. I suspect global warming is at work again.

I live in Redlands, which is about 50 minutes east of LA, and today was the windiest day I can remember. Definitely a day to stay inside if you can. Luckily, I live only about a mile and a half from my work.

Seems calm here today. Think we are over the winds.
Just debris everywhere and some still without power and some homes redtagged unfortunately.

uhmmm yes I just saw in the news, by the way here in Lima is with plenty sun, but today around some minutes it turns gray with a big freezy wind (It happened during a computer test I had at UN office) then when I finished it the day turns again sunny and a bit hot :) Inca's knowledge & vibes came from the far Andes to me? He, he, he...

Thanks for asking Dive. All good in my immediate circle but lot's of folks have lost power for days and suffered tree damage. The usual LA traffic nightmare was increased by a thousand as traffic lights were out in various locations. Winds are blowing again today (Monday) so we'll see.

Yep, we are good and missed the worst of it, but some people are still without power. Really ridiculous. Our state is broke and can't fix things. It's a good thing we get very few natural disasters.
