I just looked out a programme from the Mob Rules tour which I went to at Portsmouth Guildhall on January 15th 1981.

On the first page it says "DON'T LOOK NOW!!!!!! BUT THEY'RE BACK!!!!!!
I was just 15 years old, there were no boats back to the Island (Isle of Wight) after the concert and I was in deep shit with my parents when they realised that I wasn't having a sleep over at my best friends house but we were both sleeping out in Portsmouth waiting for the first boat back. It was one of the few times we got caught out.

I still have my ticket tucked into the staples of the center page and apparently I paid £5 for it. I think it was a whole weeks pocket money. Good memories.

Are you a collecter of things Black Sabbath Jack? You are welcome to have my programme if you would like it but it was Dio and not Ozzy at this point so you may not be interested.

I'd love to get to see these guys once. They fall into campy at times, but they also did some amazing shit. And how many bands can say they helped define a genre?

Today it was announced that Tony Iommi has lymphoma.
