OT: Sabbath Reunites with new album, tour, etc...

Anyone going to partake in any concerts? Myself, I'm going to see how the new album is first, then see if they can still perform, and THEN decide weather or not to attend a concert. I always enjoyed the drum parts (especially WAR Pigs) and Ozzy's antics, but I'm not so sure they have "it" anymore. Last time I saw Ozzy live years ago, he could barely mutter anything comprehensible and all he did was jump around like a geriatric bullfrog a few times. But this time there will be all four original members of BS and they have NEW, Rick Rubin produced MATERIAL. Hear that, POLICE?? NEW MATERIAL!

My other question is this, and I understand they are two different genres of music but if these 60something headbangers can write a new album, why on earth can't THE POLICE?

Zounds.

Are there dates for this yet? (And are any of them outside California?)

I will most likely go. I saw Heaven & Hell a few years ago and loved it. Essentially they were the Dio-Sabbath band, and I saw Ozzy last year at Ozzfest and found he was better than I expected. Gone is the bumbling fool from the MTV series. He performed a nice mix of old classics plus some songs he hadn't done in years. I'll check it out Sabbath 2012.

I'd be interested if they're playing anywhere near me (which probably means Atlanta - most big tours skip Birmingham. )

We're starting to get on the map up here in Nashville. I'll host the party if they make it here, or join you and what I'm sure will be several other Nutters in Atlanta if it comes to that...
