If any fo you Rush-appreciative Nutters are interested, there is a cool photo on Neil Peart's 2011 Photo/travelogue "Far and Away: A Prize Every Time". It's a pic showing Neil's stated stack of reading material for February 2010, on page 235. And 3rd from the bottom is - "Strange Things Happen" by StewartHimself!
Brian and I went to see the theatrical showing of Rush's Time Machine Tour, the Cleveland show (fantastic!!!) last Thursday, so this photo was a nice bonus to Peart's newest book-a little "bump" from one great drummer to another possibly 8) .

They're buddies, although Stewart has joked about hiring a hit squad because people are always saying "You're my second favorite drummer next to Neil Peart!"

Now, if we could just somehow-or maybe Stewart & Neil could arrange-manage to have Geddy and Sting become buddies.....maybe some some of that slightly goofy workmanlike modesty of Mr. Lee's would influence His Stingness........nah, never work!
Hit squad. Like a musical hit squad...?..... couldn't restst....

How about a "double trio" (a la King Crimson with Bruford/MAstelotto; Levin/Gunn; Frip/Belew) with Copeland/Peart; Sting/Lee; Summers/Lifeson !

Belew was arguably the best act we saw at Moogfest this year. It's amazing how many licks other guitarists have flat-out stolen from him.

(Wish he'd play more local gigs. Sigh.)

I'd pay good money to see that lineup...
