CONFIRMED: STEWART in BRAZIL November 12th

Stewart concert in Brazil was confirmed for November 12th like the main attraction of a world percussion festival of two days in Sao Paulo called: "PERC PAN" (Panorama Percussivo Mundial) 18th edition.

Stewart was announced in a wide range of news with the Show "La Notte della Taranta" an orchestra with 20 musicians who plays folk music from south of Italy. The concert will be at "Ibirapuera Auditorium".

Also, "PERC PAN" promotes meetings between local musicians from south side of Sao Paulo with the musicians that will participate at this Percussion Festival. So, at November 10th PERC PAN will organize a workshop with the participation of Stewart Copeland and two musicians from "La Notte della Taranta" (The entry of this workshop is free)

:lol: well I translated to english the news article in portuguese...it says for the "Workshop" (November 10th) will be free - open to everybody... In this "Workshop" Stewart and two members of "La Notte della Taranta" will be exchanging percussion experience with local musicians... The "Festival" will be two days November 11 & 12.... Stewart and "La Notte della Taranta" will perform their show at November 12th (The Last day - Is the main act of the Festival), the tickets cost around 20 and 10 brazilian reales ( 1 brazilian real cost around 0.56 U$D) It means the more expensive ticket cost: 20 brazilian reales = 11.32 U$D 8) 8)

Here crossing fingers with some contacts between peruvian promoters... Hope will be a date free here, in spite of the fact November will be also a busy month for spectacles and concerts in Lima...on November 15th Pearl Jam arrives to Lima and Britney Spears close the same month... :roll:

I think "Mario" (a nutter from Brazil) is the right fan to be there, for me Sao Paulo (Brazil) is around 8 hours of fly... more close is Miami (5 hours) :shock: Hope Stewart come here...I am waiting some replies from my contacts that works into the peruvian musical events promotion... in Spite of the fact Pearl Jam, Britney Spears, INXS, Sonic Youth, Damian Marley and The Kills will performing concerts in Lima at November
