Well, he did show up at Bonnaroo in 2006...it was one of the "Everyone Stares" premiere sites & all...

I think it might realistically happen, especially if he does something w/Claypool again. I know I would personally drive to B'ham (love 5 Pts) or Atlanta (ditto) to see him. Looks like you're just joining us - he played Savannah, GA a couple years back.

Welcome aboard! I'm in Nashville, there are several other Southerners here - by that I mean southern U.S., France, Italy, etc. ;)

Oh, and - you know SC has some Alabamian heritage. Wonder if he's maintained any family ties down that-a-way....

Ha! But I think Virginia would be the preferrable southern venue.

Welcome, rnp.

Welcome! I'm an Alabama nutter too. I couldn't afford a plane ticket to Dallas either, so I drove there.

I do hope Stewart decides to make an appearance somewhere in the southeast US again soon. Atlanta? New Orleans? Birmingham? Please?

And about that topic name: while in Dallas for the Gamelan D'Drum performance, a guy who worked at the hotel where we were staying saw my Alabama license plate and asked us "Who's the hillbilly?"

Uh, yeah, that's me.

Welcome Rnp

I'd prefer it if he came to the south of England :)
