Hello fellow Stewart fans!
As we all know, The Police is a great live band. Fallout is in my top 3 for all-time most kick-ass Police live performances ever. I like it when they play it nice and fast. Would you agree?
Here are three live versions with Sting on the fretless Fender bass (with pick), Andy on the magic Telecaster and Stewart on drums that were so white-hot that several fire codes were violated. (I'm sure you've seen them all many times.)

Miss Gradenko and Bombs Away are two other great tunes. Has either song ever been played live by The Police? There's nothing on YouTube.
All I could find was this performance minus Sting and Andy:

Hahahaha, well done. But the best ever live Police performance for me was So Lonely, Montreal, 1983...

I couldn't agree more, jerseyfan. Miss Gradenko was my favorite song on Synchronicity for a long time (mother was my least...for as good as Omegaman was, how could Andy make Mother and Be my girl, Sally?).
Stewart's songs were always my favorites...On any other day, Contact are great songs and his Klark Kent songs are still amazing. (Office girls and Office talk and stay ready are a few examples).
When the Police jammed and played fast was when they sounded best. And usually that was when they played Stewart's songs...However, the jam on "Police-Around the world" when they were in India (I think it was in the middle of Regatta de Blanc)

hu hu, nice thread...well, the Musikladen show is amazing...and the reaction of the crowd is funny...sitting at their tables, drinking and clapping...not having a clue of what that band would become in a couple of years time...
That show is simply amazing...I love the way Stewart and Sting do look each other, you can feel the vibe, their 'innocence'...I think it's great!!!

Jeff Seitz says that Miss Gradenko and Bombs Away have never been performed live!
There's a one word explanation for that BS- Sting. Did he refuse to sing them live? Did Stewart ask for them to at least periodically be included in the set list? Did they rehearse them? How does that coversation happen? As they're planning the set list for a new tour, how does the decision come about to purge a song as if it didn't exist?
Sting wrote in his bio that this issue over what gets on an album is the ultimate reason for the break-up.
BTW, Alex, thanks for the link to that Montreal performance. I'd never seem it.
