I'm very glad to see Ben Hur up & running again. I'm also happy for all the Italian peeps who had their shows cancelled the first time around. But I have to really question the bit that claims Ben Hur was "showered with critical praise" in London. That's not quite how I remember the reviews.

They need to bring this show to Vegas. What better place to hold this show than Caesar's Palace (thought Caesar doesn't really live there).

i've made the same observations on FB.... the gang of nutters at the london show i went to were probably the most likely to be effusive about the show... and even with the maestro comparing it... the production was still capable of leaving me open-mouthed at what i was seeing, and not always in a good way!
