That's very cool.

I'd seriously LOVE to see Andy and Stewart do some shows with other musicians, reinterpreting the Police classics like that (either instrumentally, vocally, what-have-you.) Hint, hint, hint.

A girl can dream, right?

Honestly, I’m completely sure with all this tendency to go baroque in every kind of art and production… with there experience, they can reunite, all 3 again, SC, AS & S and be avant-garde of a new sound.

The police as avant-garde of a new baroque music ? It can be them.

After we went thru all this styles, after we will celebrate again punk music in 2007 (so much original bands to reunite). With all the mixture of cultures we assume now, there is a “boulevard” for them. They have difference to the point they can make the new REAL MUSIC. Something not matched in “clichés” or looking in direction of the past. No ! Something NEW. They are old? I say they are experienced.

All kind of versions and fussion are possible with THE POLICE music!

Don't forget THE POLICE songs and melodies came with the mixture of rythms and chords from rock, punk and specially from latin american sounds and beats (callypso, tango, reggae and for instance had african roots) and another world music like country, jazzy, and arab music that's why THE POLICE had worldwide success and were in the 80's TOP TEN lists at First World and at the same time in Third World

THE POLICE are one of the few rock bands that have relevance into the development of rock in spanish or calling Latinamerican Rock!

Saludos desde el Peru,

JOSE

PS: Imagine "Every Breath you take", "Roxanne", "Wrapped around your finger", "King of Pain", "Bring of night", "Walking of the moon", "Every little thing she does is magic", "Tea in the Sahara" or "Don't stand so close to me" they are songs apropiate executed with violin

I have another type of fusions in mind... but I hope tio produced in the near future.
